Following on from recent government guidelines identifying RAAC within local schools MBC have been employed to undertake the removal of the RAAC roofing system to the Drama studio at Altrincham College which will consist of an external scaffold complete with weatherproof canopy along with an internal scaffold crash deck to enable a safe removal of the RAAC roofing.
Following the removal of the RAAC roofing system we will then be installing additional structural steelwork followed up with new timber joists and a new ply decking.
We will then be installing a new CTF tapered board insulation scheme complete with all new fascia’s and rainwater goods
On completion of the external works MBC will be carrying out the internal refurbishment works which will consist of new colortone suspended ceiling system throughout inclusive of a new dextra lighting along with new stage lighting and a new sprung wooden dance floor.
