MBC was instructed to install 137 fire doors through the St Annes School in Stockport.
All doors were installed to manufactures guidance and ensuring that all installation material was compatible with the door and frame.
In some instances, doors were sat within a glazing screen which was removed and a new stud wall built and fire rated to 30 minutes.
Once all doors were installed, plasterers undertook making good works around the opening from when the original door was removed.
Once this had dried, architraves and skirting could be installed and decoration could take place prior to handover.
MBC's team worked hard to get these doors removed and installed and all making good ready for the new semester to start in September.
