MBC Building Contractors engaged in contract with The University of Manchester to develop and Existing Former Natwest Building established on a busy highway of Oxford Rd Manchester
The building was situated in a pedestrianised restricted area making logistics somewhat difficult. The works comprised of the facade of the building having an overall thorough examination as this 1800 Listed Building was showing signs of fatigue and stress.
The object was to bring the building externally back to its former glory without carrying out works internally. Particular attention was given to the specific render specification and window sections.
MBC carried out these works in in conjunction with Manchester Council Heritage Department and held continuous meetings in order to meet the requirements.
The building had full leadwork replacement and decoration following window and render repairs. Handed over within the term time restrictions and in budget much to the clients complete satisfaction.
