Description
Waterloo Place, is made up of seven three-bay, two storey houses. They are the propertys are owned by the University of Manchester and are predominantly occupied as office space and used by occupational Health. The buildings are grade II* listed.
Our works involved replacing the boilers in the basement of the properties and replacing radiators at all levels. Additionally, we had to work across all levels undertaking decoration works and undertaking replacement light fittings. Particular challenges with the project were that the building was to remain occupied at all times. Additionally, this was made difficulty by the buildings previous use as terrace houses as space was limited. We had to programme works accordingly and had to undertake lime plastering in staiwells out of hours.
