MBC Building Contractors were appointed by the University of Manchester to undertake the refurbishment of the committee room. The John Owens building is the oldest part of the university. It houses the chief officers at the university and is a highly sensitive area. The building remained occupied throughout the project and is a sensitive area of the university. Drilling and noisy works was undertaken out of hours
