Due to fire compartmentation issues MBC Building Contractors were employed as main contractor by the NHBC. The works involved fully demolishing internal party walls to a six floor apartment block & rebuild all internal party walls to a compliant specification. Our team of specialist operatives and sub-contractors worked from floor to floor. Time scales were tight because residents on each floor had to be located in temporary accommodation while works on their floor was complete. 

A part of the works structural floors etc remained in situ however all stud party walls etc were removed as part of the works. Once walls were rebuilt our specialist passive fire protection team sealed all penetrations & new fire doors etc were installed in each area
